Turkish superstar Tarkan who is responsible for the world wide hit "Simarik" (Kiss Kiss) seems to have finally struck a deal with the main television broadcaster TRT to represent the nation in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Oslo, Norway. After the choice of Hadise this year, Tarkan had already indicated that he was to be chosen for the upcoming year but nothing was confirmed at that point.

The official contract and announcment by TRT will be done in the coming weeks but we are at a position to confirm that Tarkan will be singing on that stage for Turkey. Included in the representation offer is none other than a music program which would start quite immediately. Everything will be announced in due course.
